NEGATIVITY:

What is Negativity?

Negativity is the tendency to be downbeat, disagreeable and skeptical. It is a pessimistic attitude that always expects the worst. Negative outcomes are bad like loosing a game, getting a disease suffering an injury or getting something stolen.

The term Negativity is being used only for human being, therefore it is clear that negativity has something to do with human condition whether it is negative thinking, negative behavior, negative aura or negative presence.

It seems easier at times to be negative and criticizing towards things or people. But satisfaction or contentment is some other thing which can't be earned in that way. It is that state of mind when a person always thinks that something bad would happen to him/her.

Negativity is a very relative term. We might feel positive about things which someone else may feel negative about. It is assuming the worst without any proof.Negative thinking will produce nothing or a negative outcome.





Difference between Positivity and Negativity :- 

In simple words differences of Positivity and Negativity can be said as below :- 

1. Hurting others is negative, helping others is positive.
2. Non-sense is negative , common sense is positive.
3. Encroachment  into others freedom is negative, respecting their freedom is positive.
4. Ego is negative , self respect is positive.
5. Hatred is negative, love is positive.
6. Shouting is negative, smiling is positive
7. War is negative , peace is positive
8. Destructing is negative , constructing is positive
9. Being harsh is negative , Being cool is positive
10. Comparing is negative , compassion is positive
11. Cursing is negative , blessing is positive
12. Carelessness is negative , caring is positive
13. Wickedness is negative , wisdom is positive
14. Greed is negative , need is positive
15. Fear is negative , Hope is positive
16. Drinking alcohol is negative, Drinking water is positive
17. Abusing is negative, Constructive criticism is positive
18. Deceiving is negative , obedience is positive
19. Power is negative , responsibility is positive
20. Littering is negative, cleaning is positive
21. Breaking is negative , making is positive
22. Being idle is negative , moving is positive
23. Being pessimists is negative , Being optimist is positive
24. Arguing with idiots is negative , discussing with good people is positive
25. Late nights are negative , early mornings are positive
26. Excuses are negative , excercise is positive
27. Reading News feed on FB is negative , reading news paper is positive
28. Watching stupid debates is negative , watching Ted talks are positive
29. Trusting fake people is negative, believing in yourself is positive
30. Fake relationships are negative, Good relationships are positive

31. Positivity brings you up.

33. Positive habits hold you up.
34. Negative habits hold you down

           “Positive anything is better than negative nothing”





NEGATIVITY - Good or Bad ?

Negativity as a mentality is not good. It makes a life complicated and unhappy. But negativity to some respect such as disbelief in unknown people and things, may be good.Verification before trust is good. 

But as a whole, one should have a positive and optimistic approach towards life.A half vacant glass is to be viewed as half filled. Always involved in creative activities. An idle brain is the workshop of the devil. Mix with only positive minded people. Negative people make you negative.

Great men are used to changing the adverse situation into a favourable one. This is by dint of their positive attitude, positive thinking. We common people also try to follow the great men to some extent.When we are ill, we cannot go out. 

Our normal activities are hampered. We can utilize this forced leave to study and prepare for the examination. In our personal loss, we may consider our stake and loss in the light of the unlimited universe. This is positive thinking. This is the positive approach towards life. This is positivity.

Negativity can lead to poor mental health. People can become depressed or anxious. It leads to feelings of hopelessness. It can ultimately lead to suicide. People can start drinking excessively or being using drugs because of the feelings of hopelessness.





Reasons for increasing NEGATIVITY:-


It has better been learnt that Negativity is  increasing to some people day by day.  Reasons for increasing Negativity in major percentage of people are as follows :-
                            
  1. Some people believe in self rightness and unwilling to listen to their well wishes.
  2. They are addicted of drugs.
  3. They believe in superstation blindly.
  4. Suffering from depression.
  5. Sentiment of domination is higher among them.
  6. Ignorance where intervention is required.
  7. Intervention where ignorance is required
  8. Forgotten of consciousness or soul without which body is useless.
  9. Expectation of lot from life, people and ourselves .   
  10. Excess positivity- Sometimes makes the person over smart , over confident and proudy etc.

  11. Excess Negativity- Brings Depression, anxiety, anger, fear of missing and lower self- esteem etc.              

          It's better to understand the disease rather than taking medicines.

How to overcome NEGATIVITY :-
      
     Following steps may be taken to  to forget negative thoughts and negative people :-

1. Daily meditation.
2. Feed your mind with a good source of information in the morning.
3. Take care of your inner world.
4. Whenever a negative thought came in your mind on the spot change that thought  into positive so that every time you do it became the habit of mind to create the positive thoughts.
5. Once to practice the forgetting negative thoughts then you will not be required to forget the negative people. It works automatically.
6. Take responsibility and make yourself busy.
7. To develope reading habit in yourself.
8. Make  habit of"Early to bed and early to rise with morning walk.
9. Meet some person of your favour.
10. Believe on Yourself. Once you start believing in your Abilities, negativity will be ruled out.
11. Learn from your negativity and transform the situation to the positivity.

1. Negative thoughts will destroy you. Always do your best to keep a positive attitude.
2. Negativity is not the way to go.
3. Just say no to Negativity.
4. Don't be a victim of Negative self talk. Remember, you are listening.

6. Beautiful things happen when you distance yourself from Negativity.
7. Negativity is a thief which steals happiness.
8. Stop the Negativity and control your creativity.

Depression:-  

Depression is a common mental disorder and one of the main causes of disability. It can harm brain and body. People with depression may also have multiple physical complaints with no apparent physical cause. 


Depression can be long-lasting or recurrent, substantially impairing people’s ability to function at work or school and to cope with daily life. At its most severe, depression can lead to suicide. When you lose the will power to live or fight any illness or even perform your basic routine in life, it is called depression.
 
It is more than just sadness. In Depression, People may experience a lack of interest and pleasure in daily activities, significant weight loss or gain, insomnia or excessive sleeping, lack of energy, inability to concentrate, feelings of worthlessness or excessive guilt and recurrent thoughts of death or suicide. It is a mental disorder/ mental disease.

Depression may be characterized by following symptoms :-

Sadness, loss of interest or pleasure, feelings of guilt or low self-worth, disturbed sleep or appetite, tiredness, and poor concentration.

It has been observed worldwide that women are more affected than men.



Stress:-

Result of forces which lead to reaction of internal particles may be called Stress. When a man is STRESSED, his,heart pounds faster, muscles tighten, blood pressure rises, breath quickens, and your senses become sharper. 

These physical changes increase your strength and stamina, speed your reaction time, and enhance your focus. This is known as Stress. No doubt, Stress affect the body in many ways.

Stress is the internal resistance, or counter force, of a material to the distorting effects of an external force or load. These counter forces tend to return the atoms to their normal positions. The total resistance developed is equal to the external load is called Stresses.

Stress are of several type but must leave on its own. There is no stress till you create it. You are the creator of stress. Life is not stress at all. Our mind, our desirous mind thinks it to be so. It makes stress, it creates stress. Do not create stress. Just live.




 Anxiety:-

Anxiety can simply be defined as fear of fear.It’s being afraid of an imagined future experience and thinking you can’t deal with it emotionally.

In Anxiety, you just imagine the future scenario,  you already feel what you think you can’t deal with.Our brains can’t tell the difference between what is real and what we imagine. We react equally  & strongly to both real and imagine.We are responding to thoughts, not reality.

This normally lasts for a short period causing no impairment in social or occupational functioning. When this anxiety is prolonged and affects social or occupational functioning, it's abnormal and accounts for anxiety "disorder.

Anxiety disorders also manifest as physical symptoms along with psychological symptoms. Some of the common things that patients experience are as follows:

  • Feeling that something undesirable or harmful is about to happen (edginess and apprehension)
  • Dry mouth; swallowing difficulty; hoarseness
  • Rapid breathing and heartbeat, palpitations
  • Twitching or trembling
  • Muscle tension; headaches; backache
  • Sweating
  • Difficulty in concentrating
  • Dizziness or faintness
  • Nausea; diarrhea; weight loss
  • Sleeplessness
  • Irritability
  • Fatigue
  • Nightmares
  • Memory problems
  • Sexual impotence                         


Differences between Depression, 
Stress and Anxiety

Depression:- Related to Past events - worry, hopelessness, worthlessness etc. that appears in oneself due past events happened with them. There is nothing to do, nobody treats me well, so I might / I am not worth of this, I don’t deserve good things, nothing good happens with me.

Feelings of severe despondency and dejection.Depression is hopelessness. It is similar to feeling dead. It gives you anger, despair, low energy, no enthusiasm of any kind etc.


Related to Future events - fear, worry etc. that appears in oneself due to thinking of an event that might happen in future. If I go there, if I do that, if I say that then this might happen, that might happen. worrying negatively about future. 

In anxiety feeling of worry, nervousness, or unease, typically about an imminent event or something with an uncertain outcome. Anxiety is worry. It is panic. Every little thing might set off panic attacks etc.

                Sometimes people can have two of them at the same time


Healthy ways :-

  1. Stop Overthinking.
  2. Listen to soothing music.
  3. Meditation: Even ten minutes of PROPER meditation will help you.
  4. Yoga: You don’t have to start with two hours a day. Start slowly.
  5. Sleep  So many of us don’t get enough sleep. This also contributes to stress
  6. Regular exercise.
  7. Take a break from your worries by doing something that you enjoy the most.
  8. Just ten to twenty minutes of quiet reflection may bring relief from chronic stress as well as increase your tolerance to it.
  9. When you share your concerns or feelings with another person, it does help relieve Stress.
  10. you can also take help with crystals and gemstones too .
Personal advice:- 
  • Early to bed and early to rise (In Brahm Muhurt i.e. one hr .forty four mints. before of Sunrise.
  • Take nutritious and healthy food. Fruits must to be taken but only as per Dietitian's  advice.
  • Take atleast 45 minutes morning walk in fresh air.
  • Meditation ofor at least half an hour both morning and evening.
  • Don't live alone. Always live in happy environment
  • Listening music and sharing your feelings to your own.
  • Follow Psychiatrist /your doctor strictly.

Prayer means you are trying to talk to God.  Prayer must come from the heart and when it does it always brings magic.. By prayer you develop a true relation with God or to whom you pray.

Prayer is recitation of the Holy verses we learnt or those lines which our parents taught us when they inculcated the concept of God in us.

Most humans prayer in two cases :-

Either out of fear from God or when we need something from Him.

It's natural to have our closed ones in our thoughts even when we are away from them.  


Meditation means you are willing to listen to God.  As I understand it, breathing is meant to clear the mind, to bring a person to a place of clarity, letting go of everything but at the present moment.You may go deeper and deeper into this to a point where you think you have fallen asleep - but you haven’t. You have just accomplished moving your awareness away from the body, away from your thoughts and into a wonderful space. I would say, you are now in soul consciousness.Meditation is the single practice which can change your life forever.

These habits will work for everyone or that they are even the most effective habits for longivity, smooth health and beauty

1.     Wake up Early : This might sound a little difficult but t once you start waking up early you will never miss sunrise & you will get plenty time to work and focus on things you want to achieve in mere future



 

2.     Suryanamaskar & Pranayam : I won’t make an statement like 30 days fat burn guaranteed or fat to fab in 12 weeks but Suryanamaskar & Pranayam will create a sense of Happiness from within and when you are happy and energetic you can work for your goals and its the best anti-aging exercise.



 

3.     Take heavy Breakfast : It’s a good thing because when you eat a heavy breakfast it will be completely used by your body converting it into mass , mal , mutra . Basically everything is digested due to “jataragni”



 

4.     Drink Plenty water : Drink water as soon as you wake up but make sure dont drink refrigerated water and drink it sip by sip . Drink water half an hour before meal and 1 hour after the meal (Because drinking water after meal will mess you digestion and is considered as poison according to ayurveda).



 

5.     Don’t seat at a place for long hours : Our body is not designed to sit at place or watch computers whole day . so take break atleast every 3 hours and breathe in for few minutes.

 

6.     Eye care : one of the most precious and delicate body part and almost 70% people have eye related issues . one of the best practice is to apply early morning saliva in your eye and wait for  2 mins. You can also have 2–3 carrots a day and a Multivitamin tablet.



 

7.     Avoid Cooking in aluminium vessels : This is one of the bad habit for long run aluminium goes into the bloodstream and accumulates in different organs in different people causing a multitude of effects it hampers your health so cook in steel or in utensils made up of mud (Red mud)



 

8.     Avoid processed foods : All Processed foods soda’s cola , sugar syrup and junk foods have empty calories so avoid them and replace them with fruits oats , Green vegetables , sprouts , Lime etc



9.     Set Small goals : No body can climb a ladder before he takes a first step so never be afraid to take it . “Nothing can add More power to your life than concentrating all your your energies on limited set of targets”.



 

10.  Sleep well : There are many days where you feel insomniac worried before you sleep or just waste your time on cell phone Meditate before you sleep and again dont use an app to Meditate.You must take sound sleep atleast for required hours (varies according to age group)



 

11.  Be Thankful : Whenever you wake up cheer out loud saying “It’s gonna be a wonderful day whoo hoo” and thank your God, parents or friends for keeping you alive and happy.



 

12.  Implement a Habit at a time : Have you ever thought why we fail going on a diet or being consistent on a workout because we want it all , go step by step according to a study it takes 66 days not 21 days to make a habit so be patient



 

13.  Give something back : Always share your happiness. It might be with anyone a group of children playing in park or Older people who have difficulty in travelling on road or even a stranger GO HELP THEM . Just don’t offer them money they are not hungry for money all they need, is some help or the positive vibes which they will receive from you. Always remember "Sympathy is far greater than gold."



 

14.  Let Go things : Don’t worry too much at and forgive people . Don’t be attached to things cause happiness is a choice . Take sometime cry out loud . Think of the worries you had when you were 12 years old you might laugh on it now but still you were scared so be patient Time is a best medicine.
