What is immunity?

Small microorganisms like Bacteria and viruses are present in the environment around us which go inside the body with inhalation. They harm us much if
our immune system is not strong. Strong immune system of our body protect us from such bacteria & virus.
The immune system protects your body from infections and various diseases. Researchers believe that the ageing process leads to a decline in the fighting capacity of the immune system. This leads to more infections and inflammatory diseases, and possibly cancer.

Minor diseases such as cough, cold, AIDS, and dangerous diseases like AIDS & CORONA (burning problem of the world) are caused by viral (bacterial) infection.

How to increase our immunity ?

We can say that we have a good immune system when we observe that the defence mechanism of our body is sufficient enough to fight against common diseases. Instead of taking pills on a regular basis to sustain a sound immunity, peep inside your kitchen and you will find a range of foods that help to boost your immune system.
Keeping a strong immune system is a function of several factors:

  • Eat balanced diet rich in vitamins and nutrients. The immune system is highly energy consuming. Malnourished states lead to a weakened immune response. Vitamin D has been found to play an important role in immunity.
  • Exercise: The immune cells circulate around the body within lymphatics. Exercise helps keep the cells going around your body and ensures your organs are well drained of lymphatic fluid.
  • Early exposure to pathogens (+ Vaccination): This goes hand in hand with my first point. Early exposure to microbes/pathogens helps build an army of lymphocytes ready to unleash destruction to most foreign organisms when needed. Its the reason vaccination helps build a strong immunity.
  • Try to live a healthy lifestyle-keep hydrated, avoid smoking, eat good food, sleep well, reduce stress levels, etc.
  • Positive thinking
  • Mediation
  • Early & sound seep

MEDITATION is that which gives you deep rest. Meditation is an activity in which practitioner just sits and allow the mind to dissolve. The rest in meditation is deeper than the deepest sleep that you can ever have. When the mind becomes free from agitation, is calm and serene and at peace, MEDITATION happens.

Here are the some meditation tips for beginners, to help you prepare for your meditation at home:

  • Choose a convenient time: Meditation is essentially so it should be done entirely at your convenience. Choose a time when you know that you are not likely to be disturbed, no work at all and are free to relax and enjoy. The hour of sun rise and sunset, while nature transition between day and night, are also ideal time for the practice. You will also find these times quiet at home, which will help in your meditation.

Choose a Quiet Place: Just like a convenient time, choose a place where you not likely to be disturbed by anyone. Quiet and peaceful surrounding can make the meditation experience for a beginner more enjoyable and relaxing.

Sit in a Comfortable Posture: Your posture makes a difference too. Whenever you do practice for meditation before that you make sure that you are relax, comfortable and steady. Sit straight with your spine erect, keep your shoulder and neck relaxed and eyes closed throughout the process. That you have to sit in PADMASANA (the lotus position) to meditate is a very common myth of meditation.

Keep a Relatively Empty Stomach:
The best time to meditation at home or at your work place is before having a meal. After food, you might doze off while meditating. Never force yourself to meditate when you are very hungry because you’ll find it very difficult because of hunger cramps or you may even keep thinking about food the whole time. So in this case, First you have to take food first and You can meditate after two hours after having foo.

Start With a Few Warm-ups: Before sitting to meditate, do few warm up or Yoga exercises. It’ll help you to improve circulation, remove inertia and restlessness and makes the body feel lighter. If you want feel very good experience and want to go very deep, This step is very helpful and important in your list.

Take a Few Deep Breaths: After few warm up or Yoga Exercise, just sit very calmly and take deep breathe. This is again preparation for easy meditation. Deep breathe IN and OUT before meditating is always a good idea. This helps to steady the rhythm of the breath and leads the mind in to a peaceful meditative state.

Keep a Gentle Smile on Your Face: You’ll see the difference and a gentle smile throughout keeps you peaceful, relax and enhances your meditation process.

Open Your Eyes Slowly and Gently: As you come close to end of the meditation, don’t be in a hurry to open your eyes and start moving about. Open your eyes very slowly and gradually and take time to become aware of yourself and your surroundings.

Do Practice Meditation Daily. More you’ll practice more you’ll know about yourself.

Stay Happy.

Always Keep Smile….!!! :) :)
